Position Overview

Wireless communication designer to support the development of MRPC products.  The candidate will support the execution of product development with a specialization in wireless technology for both sustaining and new product development.

Candidate would work as part of a highly integrated, very experienced team, in a dynamic environment that may occasionally involve working on more than one project simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day test lab activities
  • Troubleshoot and isolate test system issues
  • Help separate test-setup issues from product issues
  • Interface with the design team to implement new test requirements
  • Analyze test data

Desired Specific Skills & Experience A Must:

  • Familiarity with BLE and 2.4GHz band FCC regulations
  • Understanding of antenna lobe patterns and matching as related to antenna placement within a system
  • Link Margin analysis
  • Design of test protocols
  • Spectral analysis
  • Vector Network analysis
  • Noise measurement and EMC chamber testing
  • Ability to do RF impedence matching
  • Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word…)
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Pro-active, creative, and collaborative problem solver
  • Possesses a team-oriented attitude and takes personal-pride in team success
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with a typical product development process

Highly Desired:

  • Previous medical device product development experience.
  • Desired Education & Experience Level
  • Bachelor of Science in related field
  • Desired work experience is 5 or more years.
